Kalonzo Musyoka Inspires Congregation at Ruach Assembly Church, a Hopeful Message for Kenya’s Future
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka delivered a stirring and hope-filled address at Ruach Assembly Church, moving both congregants and leaders with words deeply grounded in faith, unity, and national purpose.
Stepping onto the pulpit to a warm welcome, Kalonzo immediately struck a chord with the crowd by reflecting on Kenya’s sense of identity. “We really don’t seem to know who we are even as Kenyans,” he mused, while also encouraging the nation’s youth to recognize their own strength and potential.

Kalonzo’s speech was peppered with warmth, humor, and uplifting energy, expressing gratitude for the church’s ministry and the personal growth he had observed in Pastor Julian Kyula over the years.
He fondly recalled attending worship at Nairobi Baptist Church and watching Pastor Julian grow, remarking: “Little did we know that he would touch not just the African continent but the whole world.” Kalonzo’s words celebrated generational progress and the positive impact Kenyan leaders are having both locally and globally.
Emphasizing that he was speaking not just as a politician but as a leader and fellow Kenyan, he encouraged the community to stand together. Kalonzo highlighted Kenya’s vast natural resources, from the shores of Lake Victoria to the Indian Ocean and the underground reservoirs in Turkana County, indicating untapped national potential.
“We have a lot of mineral and other wealth in our country,” he confirmed, adding that “the Lord’s timing is His own and it will be the best for us.”
One of the most powerful moments of his speech was his passionate call for unity and healing. Kalonzo acknowledged the resilience of Kenya’s youth, many of whom have faced difficulties including being wrongly charged, and urged for both spiritual and societal healing. “There must be things we must also do as a people, as a country to make sure we say, ‘never again’,” he said, underscoring the vital role of leadership in national reconciliation.
Kalonzo recognized the importance of fellowship, urging congregants to encourage each other and rise above personal and national difficulties, whether the “cost of living, your rent problem or unemployment.”
He commended the power of togetherness and the Kenyan spirit of “holding each other, praying together, crying together, encouraging each other,” believing that through such unity, the nation could unlock greater achievements.
The former Vice President closed his inspiring address by empowering Ruach Assembly and all of Kenya to embrace their destiny, prophesying growth and global recognition:
“You cannot see a world beater, but the world will come to you. That is my prophecy and it is not a false prophecy, may God be praised.”
Kalonzo Musyoka’s visit to Ruach Assembly was not just a ceremonial appearance, but a meaningful encounter filled with hope, unity, and a passionate belief in Kenya’s bright future.
