Bennyhinn Walubengo, widely known as Orator Walubengo, has been appointed Secretary General of the People’s Party of Kenya (PPK).
The party is led by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro. Walubengo confirmed the news himself, thanking his party leader for the trust placed in him.
A New Chapter in Kenyan Politics
Nyoro launched PPK in August 2026 after exiting the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). The move signaled his shift toward the opposition camp ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Who Is Bennyhinn Walubengo?
Before politics, Bennyhinn Walubengo built a name as a motivational speaker, corporate trainer, youth mentor, and author. Born on December 19, 2001, grew up in Baba Dogo, Nairobi.
His parents, a police officer and a teacher, raised him with discipline. He has spoken openly about a hyperactive, stubborn childhood that once strained his relationship with his father. A rift the two later healed.
His name carries a personal story. His mother, moved during a conference at Uhuru Park, felt compelled to name her future son after evangelist Benny Hinn. That name would later become his public brand and a man on a mission to change Kenya.
Walubengo’s speaking career started at age 13. An uncle sharpened his communication skills, while another uncle’s political background shaped his early worldview.
His talent quickly translated into recognition. He picked up more than 14 awards, including Best Male Debater at the Great Debaters Contest between 2017 and 2019, and Best Public Speaker at the Kenya Music Festivals.
Building Institutions for Youth Empowerment
Walubengo’s influence extends well beyond the podium. He founded iSpeak Society and iSpeak Academy, training platforms dedicated to public speaking, debate, and executive communication.
The programs have reached between 4,000 and 5,000 young people across the region.
He also serves as Chief Visionary Officer at Double B Consultancy, a firm offering digital packaging and speech training for adults and children alike.
Through The Voice of Benny Organization, he pursues Vision 2029, a campaign aiming to positively impact 10 million people through seminars and media outreach.
His Hinnfluence Podcast adds another platform, hosting conversations on mindset, purpose, and mentorship.
A Published Author
Walubengo has authored several books tracing his personal and professional growth. Sprout: The Journey of a Dreamer captures reflections written at age 16 and released when he turned 19. 360 Seconds with Destiny offers guidance on communication and strategic self-presentation.
Another Generation examines shifting youth leadership dynamics. He also co-authored How to Recover Relationship with Your Son with his father, drawing from their own reconciliation.
